Senior Accounts Clerk
Includes but not limited to the following
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Senior Accounting Clerk position or similar role.
* Advanced proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or
Sage.
* Efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
* Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
* Record and organize financial transactions, maintaining accuracy in accounts payable,
accounts receivable, and the general ledger for future reference.
* Regularly reconcile financial records, investigating and resolving discrepancies in bank statements, accounts, and other data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Aid in the budgeting and forecasting process by contributing accurate financial data, identifying trends, and assisting in setting realistic financial goals.
* Identifying areas for improvement and reduced risks, offering recommendations for enhanced performance and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
* Manage accounts payable by verifying invoices, ensuring timely payments, and resolving payment issues while liaising with vendors and stakeholders.
* Support internal and external audits, providing necessary financial documentation, conducting internal audits, and assisting in implementing measures for improvement based on audit findings.
