2nd Year Lawyer Student

Includes but not limited to the following* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Senior Accounting Clerk position or similar role.* Advanced proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks orSage.* Efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).* Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.* Record and organize financial transactions, maintaining accuracy in accounts payable,accounts receivable, and the general ledger for future reference.* Regularly reconcile financial records, investigating and resolving discrepancies in bank statements, accounts, and other data to ensure completeness and accuracy.* Aid in the budgeting and forecasting process by contributing accurate financial data, identifying trends, and assisting in setting realistic financial goals.* Identifying areas for improvement and reduced risks, offering recommendations for enhanced performance and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.* Manage accounts payable by verifying invoices, ensuring timely payments, and resolving payment issues while liaising with vendors and stakeholders.* Support internal and external audits, providing necessary financial documentation, conducting internal audits, and assisting in implementing measures for improvement based on audit findings.
