VIDEO CAMERA OPERATOR – PART-TIME
An emerging gospel promotion company in Sangre Grande is looking for an experienced Camera Operator to capture high-quality video for live and pre-recorded events, including concerts, church services, entertainment, and corporate productions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in capturing high-quality video for a range of productions, including live sports, entertainment, corporate events, and other multimedia content. This position requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various types of cameras (studio, field, handheld, drone, etc.) for live and pre-recorded productions.
• Set up, adjust, and manage camera equipment, ensuring all gear is in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to execute the creative vision of each production.
• Frame and compose shots according to technical and creative guidelines.
• Monitor and control exposure, focus, lighting, and movement to ensure high-quality footage.
• Assist in the setup of live broadcasts, including camera placements, angles, and synchronization.
• Work with other crew members to ensure seamless integration of camera footage with other production elements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live and recorded productions.
• Maintain equipment inventory, ensuring cameras and accessories are properly stored and documented after use.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience as a camera operator in live event production, broadcasting, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of camera equipment, lenses, lighting, and video formats.
• Proficiency in operating broadcast cameras and equipment (e.g., Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, or similar).
• Experience with live streaming setups and integration is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
Education and Experience:
• Minimum of 18 months to 3 years of experience as a camera operator in a professional setting;
