Hi, my name is Tracey Stoute and

presently, I am a Senior Mathematics Lecturer with over 20 years of experience in the education sector.

My roles and responsibilities have consistently evolved over the years and now my core skills are in the areas of: Online teaching; Developing accredited syllabi for the Math department; Providing support and guidance to students and fellow faculty; And of course, teaching multiple classes of up to 30 individuals every term.

I presently lecture the following courses: Calculus, Pre- Calculus, Mathematical Methods, Statistics, Finite Math, Algebra - Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner. With the online platform, I have achieved an overall pass rate of approximately 97% within the last 4 years. The comments from my students using an online survey were positive implying that they were pleased with my teaching style and assessment strategies. I also stay connected with my students via Google Chat to receive faster feedback. This approach allows me to connect with them and has brought me the most success in my career, because as I gain credibility, the rapport and trust soon follow.
