Position: Dental Assistant

Island Smiles Dentistry Ltd., located in Charlieville, is seeking a friendly, reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is organised, professional and passionate about providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
* Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments and materials.
* Clean, disinfect and sterilise instruments and equipment.
* Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable.
* Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
* Provide basic oral hygiene guidance to patients.
* Monitor dental supplies and help maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements
* Certificate in Dental Surgery Assisting or a related recognised qualification is preferred.
* Previous dental assisting experience is an asset.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* A caring attitude, professional manner and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
