Our firm is looking at a housekeeper for a Large Family home in Manzanilla. We are seeking a reliable, thorough and organized Housekeeper to maintain a five-bedroom short-term rental property. The housekeeper will be responsible for preparing the property between guest stays and ensuring that the home consistently meets our cleanliness and presentation standards. Because this is a guest property, attention to detail is extremely important. Each turnover should leave the home looking clean, organized and ready for the next guests. Key Responsibilities Laundry & Bedding * Wash and dry all used bed sheets, pillowcases and other bedding after each stay. * Properly fold and organize clean sheets and bedding. * Identify any stained, damaged or missing linens and report them. * Ensure sufficient clean bedding is available for upcoming stays. Bed Preparation * Strip used bedding and remake all required beds. * Ensure beds are made neatly and to our established presentation standard. * Sheets should be properly fitted, pillows arranged correctly and bedding presented consistently throughout the property. * Carry out a final check of each bedroom before the property is considered ready. General Cleaning * Sweep and mop floors throughout the house. * Wash, dry and put away dishes left by guests. * Ensure kitchen and common areas are left clean and organized. * Ensure bedrooms are tidy and properly presented. * Report any areas requiring additional cleaning, maintenance or attention. Inventory Checks After each guest stay, conduct an inventory check of the property, including items such as: * Bedding and linens * Towels * Kitchenware, plates, glasses and utensils * Household supplies * Guest amenities * Furniture and other designated property items Any missing, broken or damaged items must be reported promptly so they can be addressed before the next guest arrives. Turnover Standards Before completing each turnover, the housekeeper is expected to ensure: * All required laundry has been completed. * Clean sheets and bedding have been folded and stored correctly. * All beds have been made to the required standard. * Dishes have been washed and put away. * Floors have been swept and mopped. * Bedrooms and common areas are clean and presentable. * Inventory has been checked. * Missing or damaged items have been reported. * Any maintenance issues noticed during cleaning have been reported. * The property is fully ready for the arrival of the next guests. Ideal Candidate The ideal person should be: * Reliable and punctual * Honest and trustworthy * Organized * Detail-oriented * Able to work independently * Comfortable managing laundry and preparing multiple bedrooms * Able to follow a consistent cleaning and presentation standard * Available to work around guest check-out and check-in schedules, including weekends when required Previous housekeeping, hotel, villa or short-term rental experience would be an asset.
