We're Hiring – Operations SupervisorLocation: Tabaquite, Trinidad & TobagoA well-established kitchen proudly serving the National Schools Dietary Services Ltd. (NSDSL) School Feeding Programme since 1979 is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to oversee the daily operations of a busy food production kitchen responsible for preparing and delivering nutritious breakfast and lunch meals to schools throughout the Central Zone.Key Responsibilities*Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the kitchen.*Lead, motivate, and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.*Ensure all meals are prepared, packed, and dispatched on schedule.*Coordinate inventory management, weekly market lists, and purchasing.*Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and food safety.*Provide daily operational reports and updates to Management.Requirements*Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a commercial kitchen, catering, food production, or similar environment.*Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.*Strong understanding of food preparation, food safety, and inventory control.*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.*Food Safety/Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.Working HoursMonday to Friday5:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.What We Offer*Competitive remuneration package*Public holidays and school vacation periods off*End-of-term performance bonuses*Complimentary breakfast and lunch each workday*Opportunity to join a stable organization with over 45 years of serviceApplication Deadline: August 23, 2026Start Date: September 1, 2026If you are a proactive leader with a passion for food service excellence, we'd love to hear from you.Please submit your résumé and cover letter.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
