The Cashier/CSR is the first person the customer comes into contact with therefore one of the most important positions in the restaurant. They set the tone for the entire Quick Service experience. They must be professional, personable, mastered in menu knowledge, know the current promotions, and offer all of this to every customer without fail. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide excellent Customer Service and greets customers immediately upon arrival with a welcoming smile and attitude.• Listen to the customer and take their orders, suggestively sell items, repeat their order for accuracy, suggest a drink if not ordered, and re-count change in front of the customer efficiently, quickly, and without error.• Product knowledge of all food and beverage menus – ability to make suggestions to customers.• Use of the company’s Point of Sale system to take the customer’s order.• The Restaurant Cashier/CSR is in charge of the register.
